In Short:Perfecto.

I refuse to believe that Todd "Nick Nightingale" Field has created a movie as engaging as the trailer for his adaptaption of Tom Perrotta's novel Little Children. There's just no way.

The Little Children trailer is an impressive work that knows it's hard to resist watching a train wreck. To that end, the trailer seductively lulls you in with an off-in-the-distance train whistle building to warn of the impending collision between the characters' hearts and their desires. Of course you're going to watch until the crash, they've got your full attention

The dead man's handle of this trailer may be the fact that it's just too good. It has the feel of being a better crafted representation than the movie it's promoting. I'm not sure Field can make the film this trailer promises — as that would be an incredible directing achievement. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Little Children sounds great, looks crisp and works perfectly from beginning to end.
