Don't know much about
Dutch Schultz, the legendary hardcore gangster who was shot to death on October 23, 1935 and left this world with the infamous last words "A boy has never wept nor dashed a thousand kim..."?
No, doesn't ring a bell? Well, then I'll lay odds that you're a little rusty on
Freemasonry,
Robert Anton Wilson,
the Principia Discordia,
the Sacred Feminine,
the Illuminati,
Solomon's Temple,
Emperor Norton or
Where's George?.
If you're drawing a complete blank, that's probably a good thing. These connections have almost occult-like power to take possession of helpless every-day-folk with their awesome dark revelations.
For instance, back to mobster Dutch Schultz. Seems Schultz was good friends with the Mathematician cum Mobster
"Nick the Greek" Dandolos. "Nick the Greek", being like a magician in figuring odds in his head, had lots of others friends including Ava Gardner, King Fuad I, Jack Dempsey, and most importantly for our purposes, our beloved-half Groucho Marx. And alcohol! Did Schultz know Groucho via Dandolos? It seems probable but so far, undocumented to my poor resources. These things tend to be murky.
It's like the Illuminati cocktail party game, The 33 Degrees of Initiation, lots of kowtowing to coincidence and circumstance. As I come across further intersections, I'll post them here and we'll see what patterns emerge.
I mean, what else don't we know?
